How do I get involved?

How do I get involved?

STEP 1: Connect

If you’re new to Elmwood, we would love to get together with you to hear your story and learn more about how we can serve and walk alongside you as you follow Christ! For those who want to personally connect, you can click this link, fill out the form, and a pastor will follow up with you. You can also connect by attending our monthly Next Steps class and filling out the form below to receive regular updates about what’s going on at Elmwood!

STEP 2: Grow

We want Elmwood to be a place where people from all walks of life can encounter Jesus and be led to where it is He desires them to be. We believe that much of the time He does this within the context of community, which we help facilitate at Elmwood in a variety of forms:

Small Groups: Small communities of Christians seeking to follow Jesus together. Click here to join a small group!

Guys/Gals Night Out: Monthly hangouts that create space for those of the same gender to connect on a deeper level.

Adult Class: A consistent opportunity to dig deeper into the truths of God and consider how these truths interact with our everyday life. This fall we are teaching a digital course called Good News in the Public Square, where we focus on many of the hot topics in our cultural moment and ask ourselves what the Bible has to say on these topics, as well as what type of people Jesus calls us to be. If you’d like to join us for class, click here to RSVP and receive a Zoom link. The class runs from 7-8:30pm on the first and third Thursday of each month.

Senior Bible Study: A space where those of the elderly generation can engage in fellowship while considering what faithfulness to Jesus looks like in their particular season. The senior Bible study meets the first Wednesday of every month, in the Fireside Room.

Ladies’ Prayer Group: Join the ladies of our community on Tuesdays at 10am in the Fireside Room as they praise God and make petition through Jesus Christ.

STEP 3: Invest

Once you feel comfortable with Elmwood as a church home, we would encourage you to do a few different things:

     A. Click here to begin serving on a ministry team.

     B. Pursue covenant membership.

     C. Click here to partner with Elmwood financially.

STEP 4: Multiply

As Jesus followers, a significant part of our mission is to make other disciples of Christ (Mt. 28:18-20). It is our heart as a a church to equip Christians for the work of ministry in their spheres of influence, as well as to see church communities planted around the Twin Cities metro.
