Special Services and Events

Ash Wednesday

Please join us as we enter our
Lenten observances beginning on
February 14th, Ash Wednesday, at 7:00 pm
with a special service including
ashes and Holy Communion.

Throughout the weeks of Lent we will again be joined
by our friends from Real Church as we delve into
Dr. David Jeremiah's soul-searching series,
"Overcoming Loneliness."

We will meet each week at 7:00 pm for worship, teaching, and prayer.
Our evenings will conclude with a time of coffee fellowship after the service.

NOTE: there will not be a coffee fellowship time on Ash Wednesday

Description of study:
"Overcoming Loneliness" provides reassurance that God wants to meet us in our loneliness and that, with His help, we can overcome it.  When you ache with loneliness, remember you are in good company. The Bible gives abundant examples of lonely saints.  Testimonies of men and women in Scripture express the crushing weight of loneliness.  Yet there is One who understands piercing loneliness more acutely than any of us -- the Lord Jesus Christ.  And it is in Him that we find a sure antidote to a lonely soul.

Free will offerings will be accepted each week during Lent.  this year the Lenten offerings will be given to Kristiana Davida pamatskola (Christian David's Elementary School) in eastern Latvia.  the school is one of a very few Christian boarding schools in this former Soviet Union country.  The school operates by faith, providing room, board, and Christian education for 40 students and orphans.

Pastor Fred will be visiting the school in April 2018, delivering our gift at that time.

For more information about the school go to Kristiana Davida pamatskola on Facebook.
